My journey back home
I was spending a wonderful week with my fiancé and his family back in Dublin Ohio. It was fun week with lots of swimming, eating and watching movies. Like everything that comes to an end my trip was over yesterday, my ticket back home was Saturday in the middle of the day. It was a hot and sunny day. I don't know what I was thinking when I got my ticket! Who travels on Saturday!
When I got to Dublin's airport there were barely anyone in security or in check-in area. Once again, I told myself just see no one is flying on Saturday! Anyway, I convinced myself that I am going to enjoy my sunny day by the window. I finally said bye to all the fun and took off to my stopover New York, Lagurdia.
My seat to both of my flights was 11A. I couldn't do my work reading so I started reading other materials which were more exciting. The pilot announce that New York has a clear sky! I told myself I hope I am sitting in the right side of the plane to get to see the whole city. My wish came true! I saw the statue of liberty, lower Manhattan, all they way up to Empire Estate building! I was super happy. I took as many photos as I could!
On my next flight, the pilot had a turn a little bit over the Central Park, how cool is the structure of buildings around this park. I do wish to have an opportunity for an internship in NYC one day.
The second flight had a few empty seats too. During my flight I occasionally looked out of the window, guess what I saw this time? Niagara Falls from above! For a few moments my mind didn't process what I was seeing. Oh my God I was thrilled.
This enjoyment didn't finish! I got to see the whole downtown Toronto. The pilot flew us all the way to Yonge street, over my BUILDING turned and landed in Pearson.
My whole day was gone flying back home, but I had much fun seeing everything from above. I should say my seat, 11A, was a memorable one.
