My Travel to East Coast Canada - Part 1
Quebec City, QB (16th August, 2014):
As many of you know, I was traveling with my parents and siblings to east of Canada for the first time. My sister and her husband has recently moved to Fredericton, NB, so we were motivated to do a road trip there. Leaving Toronto on a rainy Saturday, we arrived to rainy Quebec city with no place to stay around 8pm super exhausted. After a little bit of search we found a room at Four Points by Sheraton at Levis 15 minutes away from downtown Quebec City. The girl at counter just gave us a king bed and sofa bed room. It was huge room with free wifi. Waking up in the morning, knowing a long way to Fredericton, we decided to have few hours around the city. It was a beautiful day! I love Quebec City downtown, there are lots of people walking, dancing, performing and eating on the streets and in restaurants. It truly has the vibes of French towns.
We stopped at a famous burger in the heart of downtown. The restaurant was so cute and had delicous burgers.
Fredericton, NB (18th August, 2014):
In this very quiet town, though beautiful we were mostly enjoying our family time. We visited the newly built home of my sister and enjoyed a relaxed time at home, talking, laughing and eating.
Moncton, NB (19th August, 2014):
After a day being off the road, we hit the road again to visit Moncton and Hopewell Rocks. On the way to Hopewell Rocks we had a stop at the Magnetic Hill. It was a very cool hill were our car was pulled up the hill in neutral by the "magnets in the ground". After visiting the Magnetic Hill park we hit the road for another 60km to get to Hopewell rocks, another place to appreciate the interwoven story of time, tide and intricacies of nature. Bay of Fundy has the highest tides in the world that happen twice a day. We were able to see that the land we were standing on half an hour ago, covered with water because of the pull of sun and moon. It was one of the unforgettable memories of this trip.

After exploring Quebec City all of us agreed to head back the road towards Fredericton, New Brunswick. The roads were absolutely beautiful with colourful farm fields and hills on one hand and calm St. John river on the other hand and on top of all beautiful sky. Every turn on the road opened up to new scenic view as we drove through the woods. The combination of blue ski, green and yellow lands and white clouds was beyond breath taking.
Soon we reached the beautiful, flat province of NB and lose one hour and the sun started to set.
We arrive to Fredericton around 12am to my sister's apartment and my brother in law was waiting for us with delicious pizza.

Everything under water in 40 minutes!
We were lucky to see other wonders of nature: double rainbow. Absolutely beautiful!
We were extremely hungry so we stopped for fresh lobster dinner. The resturant had a very scenic view however the food was not that excellent. It was enjoyable time though. On our way back, we had a stop on Moncton Casino. It was quite big casino and we all enjoyed our an hour stay there watching people playing with slot machines and tables.
New Brunswick is beautiful. You should visit, if you have not done so. The story of my trip continues, stay tuned!
With Love,
Elnaz
