S/S 2015 New York's Fashion Week
My beautiful friends,
I am writing to you my opinion on New York's 2015 Spring/Summer Fashion week. I was following so many fashion bloggers who attended this years' fashion week. They had a lot of photos and updates on their blog and Instagram about the runways, catwalks and on the streets. It was a unique combination of high street, vintage and imagination. I will write to you a sum-up of what I followed this passed week. Basically, whatever you wore could be a trend in Spring.
Lots of the bloggers were emphasizing on one item of their look, either, bag, clothing or jewelry.
Mostly with plain colours. Lots of black, white and pale pink.
Eyes, lips and hair had subtlety and simplicity. There were contradictions on almost everything, there were models at Marc Jacobs that wore absolutely no makeup versus models with gold and glittering eyelids. Hair were long, straight dropped down from the middle of the head or a few very impressive braided styles made their way down the runway.
Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Coach, and most of the fashion bloggers all showed shoes that were commuter-chic so our feet will be just so happy this Spring :). Birkenstocks are back! Definitely lots of lace-up sandals.
I really aiming to attend next years' fashion week in New York. Let's hope I will go and see some of you there.
Stay tuned on my, maybe a little bit more detailed, sum up of London, Paris and Milan's S/S 2015 fashion week.
With Tons of Love,
Elnaz
